The sales representative on the road is the first contact between customers and our company. Our company is constantly growing and we are looking to expand our sales team to cover a wider area. The person we are looking for will need to follow up closely with our clients and make regular visits to meet our clients' needs. The sales representative should also promote the company and develop new business opportunities. The sales representative must be able to respond to all customers requests and cooperate with the sales team to ensure customer satisfaction. Our sales representatives are the real link between the company and its customers; they are the ones who convey the image of our company. Their presentations, as well as their professional relationships are not only strategic but very important in order to maintain excellency in our customer’s experience with us.

We are looking for someone to work as a team because collaboration is essential for us. The individual must know how to make decisions and initiatives when necessary

Requirements of the position:

  • Speak French and English
  • Be comfortable working on the road and staying overnight depending on the size of the territory
  • Sales, customer service skills and enjoy working with the public
  • Good communication skills
  • Professional attitude, interpersonal and persuasive skills
  • Be self-sufficient, organized and time efficient
  • Be comfortable with technology as the representative’s work tools are his phone and tablet.
  • Ability to make decisions and take initiatives when necessary

 

Main tasks are to:

  • Promote and sell our products within an assigned territory to existing customers while soliciting new customers
  • communicate with customers to ensure product satisfaction and resolve issues
  • Take orders and send them by phone or tablet or email to the sales team so the customers can receive their products as quickly as possible
  • Participate in the development of the business according to the annual sales plan
  • Manage all sales activities within territory through customer visits as per company policy
  • Coordinate sales efforts with team members, assist in updating client files and recovering accounts receivable as    well as satisfaction and development of new partnerships
  • Help resolve issues related to product usage or facility service

 

The work is scheduled from Monday to Friday. Work that can be done under pressure during our most busy periods. These duties may involve long hours of work and may require extensive travel and require the representative to stay overnight. Our company offers a healthy, motivating and stimulating work environment, a team that helps each other, collaborates and develops the company’s sustainability. We offer a benefits program, a retirement savings plan with employer contribution, 3 to 4 weeks of vacation per year during the least occupied periods.
